Couple Buys Lumber Firm
Glen Rock Lumber, a multimillion dollar business in Fair Lawn, N. J. that makes over $25 million annually, has been acquired by a Filipino- American couple, who will host its first “contractors’ dinner” on May 17 to meet and formally thank the company’s partners in the industry for their support over the years.
Ner Briones Lagman, President and CEO of Glen Rock Lumber (also known as Glen Rock Building Supply, Inc.) acquired the company in November 2006. His Wife, Myrna V. Lagman serves as the company’s secretary/treasurer. The other partners are Mike T. Tancredi and Chris W. Sobeleski. Glen Rock Lumber Hosts 1st Contractor’s Dinner
Glen Rock Lumber will be hosting the company’s first ever Contractor’s Dinner on May 17, 2007 at The Cotillion (454 Midland Avenue, Garfield, NJ 07026). Cocktail starts at 5:30 PM (one-hour Seafood Bar). Dinner to follow.
This dinner aims to gather Glen Rock Lumber’s partners in the industry and thank them for their continued support to Glen Rock Lumber. This event will also enable Glen Rock Lumber’s management to give its partners an idea of how the company has progressed through the years and a glimpse of the long and short-term business and marketing plan Glen Rock Lumber’s management has designed for the company.
“This is our way of saying thank you to our contractors –our partners and clients - who have been very supportive and loyal to us through the years. This is a chance for all of us to get a chance to talk to each other and see how far we have come and what other things we can still do to further improve our business so that the customers can and would remain satisfied with our products and service,” says Mr. N.B Lagman, currently the CEO of Glen Rock Lumber.
This is the first time Glen Rock Lumber will be holding a Contractor’s Dinner after the company was acquired by NB Lagman in November 2006.
